Music Composer for Film & TV
Gareth Baker Thomas is a Composer for Film & TV from South Wales, United Kingdom.
About
I am a composer from South Wales, U.K. and specialise in writing music for film and television. I am a versatile composer and have written music in a number of styles, but specialise in writing orchestral and piano led compositions, often including modern electronic textures.
In 2021, I won the ‘Best Soundtrack’ award at the Onyko Film Awards in recognition for my score for the short film ‘Through The Waves'.
Fun fact, as a teenager, I earned a Blue Peter badge for composing a song for the 2004 Tsunami Appeal, which raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
In addition to writing music directly to picture, I enjoy writing production music. My music is regularly used on TV, radio and advertising around the world. TV placements include The Apprentice (BBC1), Race Across The World (BBC1), Farmer Wants A Wife (FOX), Married At First Sight Australia/UK (E4), Antiques Roadshow (BBC1) plus hundreds more (please see credits page).
My work is currently published by the likes of London Sync, No Sheet Music, All Sorts Music and Bibliotheque Music.
